南海トラフ巨大地震が起こった際に想定される
津波の浸水深さを表示したサイン。
0.5mから3.5mまでの7段階の深さを、7種類の動物の体高で表現。
この動物たちには、世界が生き延びるための固有の情報を
備えた存在として、ノアの方舟のイメージを重ねました。
直感的に高さを把握でき、子どもや外国人の印象にも残る表現に。

Tsunami inundation depth sign “ANIMAL MEASURING ROD”
This is assumed when the Nankai Trough giant earthquake occurs
It is a sign that displays the inundation depth of the tsunami. Seven depths from 0.5m to 3.5m were expressed by the height of seven kinds of animals. I imagined Noah’s Ark for these animals.
